Genting --> Day 1

Bother! We arrived later then planned because first we went to the Woodlands checkpoints and then to the Tuas checkpoint cauz the queue at the Jurong when was very long! But the Tuas checkpoint had a long queue too! When we reached there, we found out that the swimming pool was closed! Talk about bad luck! So we went to the arcade. We played there for a long time then went back to the hotel. We decided to go to this place called snow world. After buying the tickets, we waited for 30mins before entering snow world. They made us wear these jackets and boots but i was wearing shoes so i didn't need them. There was this lodge in snow world and there was a slide leading down from it. It was really fun! We kept going on it again and agian. There was many statues of animals that live in antartica. There was some walls made of ice too and the counter where they gave free ice-cream and yoghurt drinks was made of ice! After that we went back to the hotel and watched TV. We watched Jackie Chan and Astro Boy and many more then we slept.

I'm going to Genting next Saturday and i can't wait! I'm not going with my parents this time and i'll miss the first day of Sup class so i'm so happy! I'm also happy because i won 2 tickets to the Toy story 3 show which i'll be watching with my cousin after we return from Genting! But unfortunately, i'm nearly finishing all the existing Warrior books so i'm short of things to read! Aw man! nvr mind... I'll find something soon!Oh yah! I'll only post the days when i'm back in Singapore (like Shanghai! Thx to China, I cannot access my blog!) as i'm not intending on bringing the laptop again and finding internet connection!

Shanghai -- Coming back to Singapore

We slpt for a really long time. After breakfast, my grandparents took me to the Shanghai grocery store and i got myself popcorn and chewing gum! Then they brought me to the toy shop and we shopped for toys. I got some origami paper. They were printed into seals and walruses so you could make those with the face and all. After that, we went back to the hotel to pack my bags. My dad was already back from shopping but my mother was still out. When I was about finish with my bag, My mother entered the hotel room. She took a quick shower and packed her own things to. Then we went downstairs and waited for the bus to pick us up. It was the big van all to ouselves! I watched Hatchiko all the way. We had a horrible lunch there (did i mention very expensive?) then went to shop abit more before boarding the plane. There was a bunch of students flying back to Singapore to so it was extremely noisy in the plane. I played pokemon for the whole journey. We reached Singapore at about 10p.m. We took a taxi home and thats about all of my trip.

Shanghai -- Day 6

Yay! We got to sleep untill 8! Then we went to the world expo and planned to stay there for the WHOLE day. We went to many pavilions and some required us to queue for 1 hour. Upon entering the belgiem one, we ate burgers and drank while we were queuing as we did not want to waste our time in a resturant or snack bar. Inside the belgium one, they had a chocolate factory which gave out free chocolate! We waited after the I forgot what pavilion, we went to eat dinner. We ate at KFC and then continued queuing. By then it was at night and we hardly had to queue as everybody was home or at the hotel. So we preactically strolled into the Australian pavillion and we also got to see the singapore one! It was quite nice lah. After that we dragged our feet to the taxi stand and waited for a taxi. It came very quickly. When we reached the hotel, we found that we couldn't access the hotel room! My dad went down to ask the reception and they said that they thaught we checked out today! How horrible! Oh well, today was fun!
Rate of excitement: 9/10 :)

Shanghai -- Day 5

We couldn't sleep in even though we weren't on tour. Okay, maybe we were. A new one-day tour to Shu Zhou and Zhou something. Shuzhou was quite boring as there were only gardens to see. My mother and grandmothers got chased by this guy selling fruits cause halfway, we decided not to get any. They escaped to the coach and drove us of to the next town. Shuzhou is the biggest city in China but there is less people there then there in Shanghai. In Zhou something we rode a boat thingy. It was quite exciting. They said the villagers did ALMOST EVERYTHING in the river! Shower, wash food, wash dishes, swim and maybe even to pee. So the we didn't get anything to eat there. Then we went back. We asked the driver to drop us at this bookstore in the place we went yesterday. We ate this fantastic dinner before entering bookstore. Dinner was Ramen. The bookstore had 7 FLOORS!!!!!!!!! It was humongous. We spent the rest of the day there untill it closed. I bought lots and lots and lots of books. We spent over 800 yuan there. I so wanted to come here again!
Rate of excitement: 8.5/10 (because of the boat ride and bookstore):)

I found the warriors chinese edition there.

Shanghai -- Day 4

We only woke up at 7.00! A fantastic improvement from the 2nd day! We went to this street filled with shops. The tour guide told us that there was a bookshop at a walkable distance but we found out that it wasn't entirely walkable. So we went to a goodies store instead. Only half the tour was left as the other half decided to go elsewhere. So after that we went back to the hotel. After resting for awhile, we went to this place. They sold alot of stuff thats got to do with electronics. I bought alot of books from the popular bookstore there. After that we went back to the hotel.
Rate of excitement: 2/10 Super Boring! :(

Shanghai --> Day 3

Same buffet brakfast but with crispier bacon and added cheese! *YUM*! After breakfast we boarded the coach and went to this stupid temple which sold stone gods. The imaginary creature god. You had to stroke it in a special way! *rolling eyes*. After that we went to this underwater aquarium. Even though it was s'posed to be an aquarium, they had bunnies and gunie pigs and many reptiles. After that we went to this boring place. Then we zoomed of for a chinese dinner. After a rushed dinner we went to the Shanghai Theater to watch a gymnastics peformance. It was fantastic! There was 8 people riding on motorcycles around and around a miniature ball. Three of them were girls! Well if i describe the whole thing it wouldn't be nice and it was a very long performance. So bye!
Rate of excitement: 8.5/10 Better! :)

Shanghai --> Day 2

Okay, so, the telephone woke us up at 6.10a.m. in the morning. We were like, "Darn! Overslept!" After a rushed process of getting ready we dashed down for a well deserved breakfast. There was lots of food. Yoghurt, bacon, eggs, porridge, hash brown, all types of bread etc. etc. etc. Then we dashed into the coach and headed for the World Expo. Upon reaching the expo, we waited at the gates for it to open. Bouy, was it crowded! Finally, after waiting for a long time, we managed to enter. We headed for the gift store to buy the passports then rushed around looking for an open pavilion. We found the Norway one and headed in. It was quite doring accept for the polar bear prints on a big block of snow. Then we went to the Iceland pavilion. It was like an omni theater! They showed us around iceland as well as the superb volcanic eruption in November. After that, we went to the Sweden pavilion. It was great! The had wooden swings and a gigantic slide. There was also this ping pong ball machine. When we left, the queues were very long so we just hung around for most of the rest of the day. We went for a boat ride where i got pushed alot but the scenery was better. Then we went for a dinner buffet. They had a large variety of food including Haagen-daze ice-cream. But i lost my appetite upon seeing this disgusting octopus tentacle. Resulting me not eating much.
Raye of excitement: 6/10 Okay...

To Shanghai --> Day 1

After arriving in Shanghai airport, we sat on a levitating train called the Maglev (magnetic levitation i guess). It floats by strong repelling magnets. It goes as fast as a bullet train, sometimes even faster! We stopped at the next stop and waited for the coach to arrive.We then took the coach to this place and had our breakfast. Then we went to this 3 level place that sold piroted stuff. My grandma bought Lesports bags and i bought a handphone chain thingy. Then we went for lunch. Steamboat. We each had our own stovie thingy to dunk in raw food. I kept withdrawing my hand cause it was so hot. Then we went to the hotel, Sheraton Four Points, to check in. Nearby the hotel, there is alot of shops. We went to have dinner in one of them and then walked around insearch of a supermarket to get gum...
Thats about all, Bye!
